Our mission: To organize federal employees to work together to ensure that every federal employee is treated with dignity and respect.
What We Do
We fight for fair pay and benefits, improved working conditions and other issues that matter most to federal employees.
NTEU proudly represents 150,000 federal employees in 31 departments and agencies.
NTEU began as an organization devoted to improving the working lives of federal employees—and it remains our mission today.
NTEU is led by National President Tony Reardon and National Executive Vice President Jim Bailey.
Everything we do on behalf of the 150,000 NTEU-represented federal employees is driven by 12 values.
NTEU is on the front lines of the fight for fair pay, improved benefits and adequate agency funding.
The Shared Vision Project
NTEU is launching a major research study aimed at providing us with information we need to build a vision for tomorrow and the future of our union.
Our public service campaigns are aimed at highlighting the hard work and accomplishments of federal workers.
The Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) provides financial assistance and merit-based scholarships.
