House Passes Remaining Fiscal Year 2026 Funding Bills

Before leaving Washington for a weeklong recess, the House on Thursday passed the final four fiscal year 2026 funding bills, including those for the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense, and Health and Human Services. These bills along with two others that previously passed the House, will be considered by the Senate next week.

Funding expires on Friday, Jan. 30, so the Senate will need to act quickly. Urge your Senators to provide the remaining agencies with adequate funding and avoid a partial government shutdown.

As Congress wraps up funding for this fiscal year and begins work on fiscal year 2027, NTEU will continue fighting to ensure agencies have the staffing and resources needed to meet their missions.
