The shutdown tragedy continues to make headlines across the country as NTEU leaders and members share their stories about how it impacts their lives and their communities.
Local newspapers, radio and television outlets have been documenting the tragedy by including our union voices in their coverage.
In the last few days, NTEU members have been featured in stories from San Francisco, Atlanta, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Utah, Seattle, Boston and Detroit, just to name a few.
All of this attention outside the Washington D.C. beltway is essential in our effort to pressure Congress and the administration to reach an agreement, reopen government and pay all federal employees immediately.
Thank you to everyone who has publicly shared their stories and amplified NTEU’s call for an end to the shutdown.
