Financial assistance is available for federal employees in California impacted by the devastating wildfires.
The NTEU Disaster Fund, administered through the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund, provides grants to help employees at NTEU-represented agencies with temporary needs not covered by insurance and replacement beds. The funds can also be used to help cover temporary lodging for those forced to evacuate. Employees who plan to apply for assistance should save their receipts to submit with their application.
