Chapter 282 (FDA Headquarters) mixed fun and election education at its recent “Swing the Vote” golf outing.
Around 40 employees learned about why this election is so critical to federal employees from National President Doreen Greenwald and National Executive Vice President Terry Scott. The informational session was followed up with a game of mini golf and lunch hosted by United Benefits.
“Our chapter felt it was important to express the importance of supporting our endorsed candidates in this election who we know have our backs on federal employee and labor union issues,” said Chapter President Anthony Lee. “We also just wanted to have a fun event to continue to build solidarity and community among our employees who work in many different offices.”
