Ahead of the State of the Union address, President Biden issued a letter on Thursday thanking “devoted members of the federal workforce” for their service.
“Your talents could have taken you many places, but you chose to serve our country,” wrote Biden. “I am grateful that you are using your abilities to improve the lives of everyone across America.”
The letter credits the federal workforce with connecting Americans with “life-saving and life-changing services” and acknowledges the families of federal employees.
