NTEU at the White House: Briefing on Federal Employee Issues

The Biden White House invited National President Doreen Greenwald, Chapter Presidents and National Vice Presidents at the union’s Legislative Conference to attend a White House briefing with senior Biden administration officials and White House staff.

At this first-ever event, they discussed federal employee pay, telework, staffing and agency funding, and union rights.

At the meeting, President Doreen Greenwald challenged the administration to find solutions for the future of telework that help recruit and retain a strong and diverse federal workforce. The administration committed to pushing for a budget that would increase federal pay, fund the government and provide additional staffing for federal agencies and reaffirmed its partnership with NTEU.
