If getting fit, going back to school or making a positive difference are your New Year’s resolutions, the Federal Employee Education and Assistance Fund (FEEA) can help.
You can support the charity and get active by registering for the annual Feds in Motion Challenge. The goal is to run, bike or roll your wheelchair for 37 miles over 37 days from May 1 through June 6 while raising funds for FEEA. Register by Feb. 1 for a 30-percent off early bird discount.
Federal employees can also pledge a donation during the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC #11185), which ends on Monday, Jan. 15.
If college is in your future, or your child is planning to attend this fall, consider applying for FEEA’s scholarships program. Federal employees and their immediate family members can apply for merit-based scholarships of up to $5,000 on FEEA.org. The deadline for applications is March 14.
FEEA also partners with Tutors.com for free online tutoring for eligible federal families with children in grades K-12. Learn more
