CFPB Members Celebrate Pay Victory

Members of Chapter 335 (Consumer Financial and Protection Bureau) are celebrating their long overdue salary reset.

Chapter 335 leaders fought long and hard for the reset after discovering that CFPB employees were being paid less than their counterparts at other financial regulatory agencies and pay discrepancies were harming non-white employees. After a nearly four-year effort by Chapter 335, more than 90 percent of bargaining unit employees received their first higher paychecks this summer.

The chapter celebrated its big win this week over dinner and drinks for employees attending a regional CFPB event in Philadelphia.
