Ricke Stanton, longtime president of Chapter 107 (IRS El Monte, Calif.), has passed away.
Stanton’s career with the IRS spanned more than 35 years and he served as a chapter president for more than two decades.
A strong defender of workplace rights, Stanton represented employees in countless grievances and negotiations and dedicated his time and attention to providing the best possible representation.
Beyond his fierce advocacy, Stanton strived to make sure employees felt heard. He went the extra mile—often working long hours— to assist employees with workplace problems and help them get the benefits they were due. Stanton made sure employees knew they were not alone and that he was standing with them in their pursuit of dignity and respect in the workplace.
Stanton was also a dedicated son, loving father and grandfather.
