A new programming fix has been applied for NTEU members who have previously used TaxSlayer and want to take advantage of the free NTEU version of the tax preparation software.
Since NTEU launched the new tax prep benefit last month, many members have already taken advantage of the free version of TaxSlayer for preparing and filing their federal and state tax returns. This new fix will allow members to take advantage of this new benefit even if they used TaxSlayer in previous years and have existing accounts, or created their account without using the exclusive NTEU link.
