Public Service Recognition Week (PSRW) is here, and NTEU is proud to join the nation in thanking federal employees for their many accomplishments.
Celebrated the first full week of May since 1985, PSRW is a time set aside each year to honor the integral role of federal, state, county, and local government employees.
On Friday, President Biden issued a proclamation commemorating PSRW and thanking federal employees for their service.
“This week, we recognize our Nation’s public servants, who do the humble yet critical work of keeping our country running,” the proclamation reads. “Our Nation relies on our public servants every day, and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.”
He added, “my Administration is working to empower and strengthen the career Federal workforce more than ever before” including support of NTEU-led regulations providing further protection of employees’ workplace rights.
