NTEU members can choose from a variety of products including accident, cancer, critical illness (with optional cancer coverage), disability, hospital confinement indemnity, life insurance ad professional liability insurance. There are money-saving group discounts on auto, homeowners and renters policies.

In additition, all NTEU members are automatically covered by a $1,000 Accidental Death & Dismemberment Policy. There is no premium to ever be paid, the only requirement is you remain an NTEU member in good standing.

NTEU members who enter into representational agreements with Shapiro, Shapiro and Shapiro, L.P.A, get 25 percent off the regular hourly fee—a savings of almost $70 off the hourly rate. As an added benefit, NTEU members will not be charged a retainer fee and will only be required to pay attorney fees or costs of litigation to the firm if there is a recovery.

Jiffy Lube
NTEU members are entitled to a 10 percent discount when having their cars serviced at any participating Jiffy Lube location.

Rental Car Discounts
NTEU members receive discounts on car rentals from Avis and Hertz.

Hotel discounts
Enjoy discounts up to 30 percent at fine hotels across the country, such as Choice Hotels, Travelodge Hotels, Days Inn, Howard Johnson, Ramada Hotel and Super 8 Motels.  

National Van Lines
NTEU members are eligible to receive a preferred corporate customer discount on transportation and accessorial services by using National Van Lines when moving out-of-state. Additionally, a similar discount will be given on storage-in-transit, warehouse handling, and pickup and delivery to and from storage in-transit.

National Real Estate Services
Weichert Relocation Resources Inc., a company of the Weichert Realtors organization, will provide NTEU members and their families with a “Cash Incentive” when buying and/or selling a house, townhouse, or condo through the program. Members may be eligible to receive a cash rebate of up to $1,000 ($2,000 if buying and selling). This program is not available in: Alaska, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Nevada, New Jersey, Oklahoma or Oregon.
